First, what are 2D barcodes?

2D barcodes can include information such as:

• the SKUs in the box

• the number of units per SKU

• expiration dates

Amazon only has to scan one 2D barcode to get all the information they need.

How does this benefit me?

2D barcoded shipments get checked in faster and more accurately.

Think about it this way:

The faster you get to market, the more money you make.

Let's say you send a product to FBA that makes you $100/day in profit.

If your shipment checks in 2 days quicker, you make an extra $200 just by using 2D barcodes.

How do I start using 2D barcodes?

Amazon does not allow 2D barcode printing from within Seller Central.

So the only way to use them is by using a third party tool.
