[Top 4] FBA shipping hacks

In under 2 minutes you'll learn 4 hacks that'll save you time (and money) on your FBA shipments

Hack #1:

Use promo code "DELIVER" on ups.com for 20% off your Hazmat shipments.

Since you can't use partnered carrier to ship hazmat to FBA, shipping via UPS ground is a common choice.

This will make it 20% cheaper.

Hack #2:

Use 2D barcodes, which are barcodes that tell Amazon:

• what's in the box

• how many units

• expiration dates

+ more

When I use 2D barcodes my shipments check in 2-4 days faster.

I use a tool called Boxem to generate the 2D barcodes (Seller Central doesn't let you generate them so you have to use a third party tool).

Hack #3:

Start shipping FTL (full truckload) for multiple benefits:

• lowest cost/lb
• quicker delivery
• live unload

Live unload = Amazon receives your shipment while it's being unloaded from the truck.

Most of our FTL shipments get received within 48 hours of pickup.

Hack 4)

If your cost to ship via SPD is in the ballpark of your cost to ship via LTL, choose SPD.

SPD shipments almost always check into FBA faster than LTL shipments.

If my SPD quote is close to my LTL quote I choose SPD every time.
